First Tee-Southeastern New Mexico
First Tee-Southeastern New Mexico, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in November 2005, provides youth with an educational program that exposes them to positive life skills, aids in the development and exhibition of outstanding character and provides them with the opportunity to reach their full individual potential.
The First Tee, a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, was created by World Golf Foundation in 1997. This was one of the World Golf Foundation’s first initiatives after its establishment in 1994. At it’s inception, the First Tee’s primary goals were to establish affordable and accessible golf opportunities to the youth throughout the nation and, at the same time, to foster the positive values and life skills associated with the game.
As one of the many legacies of the World Golf Foundation, First Tee-Southeastern New Mexico’s goal is to provide young people of all backgrounds, particularly those at risk or disadvantaged, the opportunity to develop through golf and character education. Established in 2005, we present the opportunity through our in school, after school and summer programming. We exist to enable kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges
